چکیده

This paper relates the camber control of a morphing flap actuated by macro-actuator composed five electromechanical actuators. Controlling could provide fuel consumption reaching specific aerodynamic profiles. Due to their reliability, actuators are used for macro-actuator. They located and integrated resist realistic forces. Their is determinant ensure mission. Based on simplified model using Lagrange principle leading feedback control, strategy deals with interconnection Flow simulations computed around have more pressure distribution data. Finally, provided.

Aiaa 2001–0293 Active Control of Separation on a Wing with Conformal Camber

A preliminary investigation of a wing with a conformal camber is discussed. The wing uses an adaptive actuator mounted internally to alter the shape of the suction surface which results in a change in the effective camber by increasing the maximum thickness and moving the location of maximum thickness aft. Since the actuator motion can be altered continuously, this allows the wing shape to be e...

Control System Design for a Morphing Wing Trailing Edge

Shape control of adaptive wings has the potential to enhance wing aerodynamic performance during cruise and high-speed off-design conditions. A possible way to attain this objective is to develop specific technologies for trailing edge morphing, aimed at variating the airfoil camber. In the framework of SARISTU project (EU-FP7), an innovative structural system incorporating a gapless deformable...

Morphing Wing Technologies Research

The development of innovative adaptive structures on UAVs (and UUVs), such as morphing wings, can potentially reduce system complexity by eliminating control surfaces and their auxiliary equipment. This technology has the potential of allowing a UAV to adapt to different mission requirements or executing a particular mission more effectively. The first part of the paper deals with a review of m...
